PLOT's short film follows a day in the life of a seemingly boring woman. On the outside she looks entirely ordinary. The scope of her imagination, however, is a completely different matter. It's a joyous look into the possibilities of the imagination and it's written, directed and produced by PLOT.

Music video clip for Melbourne band The Vasco Era's single 'Rock and Roll Is The Only Thing That Makes Me Feel Good'. The story follows a very bad day in the life of lead singer Sid.

With a Canon 5D strapped to his body, Sid makes his way through streets, cars and parties while stuff is flung at is face. Poor Sid.

Temora Aviation Museum

iPad Video Kiosk Installation

PLOT produced and developed this iPad application including the build and installation of 3 iPad kiosks that stand in the Temora Aviation Museum, NSW. Visitors to the museum use the touch screen interface to search through a library of video interviews that capture the stories of Australia's Unsung Veteran Heroes. iPads are housed in beautiful custom kiosks which integrate the app's content into the physical architecture of the museum. All content is hosted locally and is easily updatable by museum staff.

PLOT's first USA produced music video with director Ewan MacLeod for San Francisco band Deerhoof.

Shot over 2 days in the Mojave desert, this music video is a glimpse at the coming short film "Mutants of California City" currently in post production. This playful but stark clip was featured in September 2011 by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Website & E-commerce store for record lablel

Branding design, logo development and website development for dance music blog and record label Suckmusic. The site features DJ mixes, promos and a Soundcloud drop box and is integrated with Facebook and Twitter so that any social media updates are instantly published on the website's homepage. The site's eCommerce store sells Suckmusic merchandise, music and tickets to an international crowd.

Time Frame

Video Installation - c3 contemporary art space

PLOT's video installation work at c3 contemporary art space at the Abbotsford Convent, Melbourne reveals the dark, decayed and slightly sinister abandoned nooks and crannies of the convent's old dorms, laundries and infirmary. Framed in two floating rear projection screens, the work is accompanied by a barely-audible hum suggesting the potential of something wicked. Long, slow, low-to-the-floor tracking shots take the viewer through and etherial journey through places no one goes.

Custom branded USB device containing an interactive Flash application geared towards helping parents with a child recently diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The application features rich video content to provide parents with a friendly, straight forward resource to assist them in making the right choices for their child.The lightweight device is perfect for mailouts to users in rural areas where information is difficult or impossible to come by.

A one-stop website for Melbourne-based small removalists Little Red Trucks. PLOT cast and shot photos for the website and created a no-nonsense design that reflects the Little Red Trucks straightforward service mentality. Functionalities include a 'quick contact' form and a comprehensive booking form, which are integrated into the client's own business systems.

Music video clip for Melbourne band True Live's single 'Something To Be'. PLOT produced and directed the video and took on some major logistical challenges such as filming the band underwater and shipping in litres of water for a big water-fight scene.

Schweppes - The Alchemist

Web Video Campaign

A viral web video campaign directed and produced by PLOT for Schweppes. The many short videos were deployed across the web and feature recipes for cocktails delivered by real world, award winning Melbourne bartenders.

Line Produced by PLOT's Virginia Kay, we also worked with the Hail team on development and design for its website. We also trained the volunteers on the Hail team to manage and update the site's content - including its news feed, team bio information and media coverage info.

Yasue

Short Film

PLOT's short film in association with Two Rubies and featuring Mark Winter (Balibo, van Diemen's Land). It's a gentle and melancholy story following an afternoon with one man as he struggles to find a lost love. Long, meditative shots draw out the painful inevitability of the film's poignant ending.

Rogue

Fun flash site for Melbourne dance ensemble Rogue. The dancers literally jump high on the screen to retrieve information for the site visitor. The site features images and videos of recent work, latest news, download facilities and a blog to communicate with Rogue directly. Rogue's site also features a Flash content management system, which allows the Rogue team to edit the site's content easily.

This promotional site for Melbourne band The Raah Project features embedded videos, music players and photo galleries. The intro animation mirrors the Raah Project's live performance experience and the site's design utilises art work from their album cover.

Site development and design for Tastes of Gold Coast food and wine festival. The festival is a joint initiative of the Gold Coast City Council and Gold Coast Tourism and the site had to meet government web content accessibility standards so that it was accessible to users with disabilities and impairments.

PLOT founder Jamie Houge designed and developed this website for the Centre for Education and Research in Environmental Strategies (CERES) with work placement students from Victoria University. Jamie also trained key staff at CERES to update the website.

A vibrant Flash site for a vibrant band. Tom Tom Crew are a band of beat-boxing acrobats who tour the world with their mix of death-defying acrobatics and blazing hip hop tunes. The richly animated site features a blog, sound gallery, picture gallery, video gallery, downloadable kits for fans and media as well as a robust content management system.

eCommerce site designed and implemented for the construction industry. Members pay to advertise construction materials left over from major and minor works. Material Centre features pay per listing capabilities, 'featured listing' capabilities, members' login, exhaustive support pages mad connection facilities between members. It's all presented in a rich and user-friendly environment.
