The Westbury Faery is an interactive multiplatform world-building project. A new form of Alternate Reality Game (ARG) that develops a unique mythology and community through online audience engagement and collaboration. The work spans many forms of media including live action cinematic film sequences, low-fi found footage style viral video, community building across social networks, an interactive website and an Augmented Reality app.
A film festival described as “gorgeousness and gorgosity made flesh – a genre love-in for drooling cinema fiends with a fetish for the fantastic”. The new 2016 website shows off Monster Fest in all it’s glory whilst integrating a simple user journey.
PLOT had the pleasure of working with Massons property law experts alongside their creative and brand agencies in designing and developing a new digital experience. After the research phase, PLOT wireframed the new website in a way that showcased both clear functionality and beautiful design. The outcome was a fully responsive site for all platforms that provided an easy path to information for the user.
PLOT were engaged to build an app to support the (David) Jones quarterly magazine. The Jones is a curated edit of fashion trends, inspiration and must-haves that helps support David Jones’ overall digital and social strategy. PLOT as able to custom build an easy-to-use content management system that integrated WordPress. The Jones APP is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
A strong yet simple site for Melbourne-based cinematographer James L Brown. The site focuses on highlighting Brown’s work by utilising a full width design, video gallery streaming high resolution Vimeo videos, as well as a photography gallery. Built on WordPress, James is able to update the website with his latest videos and photographic stills.
A responsive, custom-built WordPress website designed and developed by Plot Media, for fellow production company, Princess Pictures. Princess Pictures are known for their collaborations with some of Australia’s most interesting comedic talent, such as Chris Lilley, Kate McLennan, Kate McCartney, John Safran and works such as Open Slather. The new Princess Pictures website release coincides with the launch of their COMEDY INCUBATOR, an exciting initiative to support talent and accelerate the development of Australian comedy projects.
Totally Frameless is a glass installation company based in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. PLOT Media gave the website a complete revamp, creating a modern and sleek design that mirrors their excellent products. The website is elegantly responsive to all devices, and features a custom navigation menu and a gallery page that showcases the beautiful work of Totally Frameless
A custom iOS app and multimedia exhibition installed on iPad kiosks as part of a semi-permanent exhibition at Temora Aviation Museum. . Visitors to the museum use the touch screen interface to search through a library of video interviews that capture the stories of Australia’s Unsung Veteran Heroes. iPads are housed in beautiful custom kiosks which integrate the app’s content into the physical architecture of the museum. All content is streamed via a custom built web service.
Interactive Flash application geared towards helping parents with a child recently diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The application features rich video content, games and tutorials to provide parents with a friendly, straight forward resource to assist them in making the right choices for their child. The lightweight device is perfect for mail-outs to users in rural areas where information is difficult or impossible to come by.
The Tot was founded by world renowned Russian fashion icons and entrepreneurs Nasiba Adilova and Miroslava Duma (the minds behind fashion and lifestyle platform Buro247). In their new venture, the two have developed what is ultimately ‘A curated digital diary for a modern Mama and her Tot’. The team at PLOT Media designed the one-stop shop for mothers that features articles and products that have been tested by like-minded mothers and experts like themselves. The editorial and soon-to-be e-commerce website blends minimalistic and high fashion design elements.
PLOT Media continues to work with The Tot on the soon to be released e-commerce store, and remains actively involved in ongoing art direction, branding and web design.
